Unfortunately, I normally end up owing money rather than get tinga refund. But I love the idea of getting life insurance. My husband and I just got life insurance last year and I feel like it was one of our best financial decisions!

This year, we plan to use our refund a few different ways. We’re going to make a payment on the student loan (that would be equal to about 2.5 extra payments), we’re going to put some into savings for the purpose of hopefully taking a trip in the summer and we are going to get a little bit of individual money to use on whatever we please! I think it’s a good mix between using the refund in a smart way while still enjoying our money!
