I hear you and it’s great to see the ability to walk away is feasible with the right things in place. I’m working on getting there myself, and while I don’t mind having a 9-5, I can’t fully jump into the deep with what I know will eventually be my passion and my primary source of income. So inspired by you.. I signed up for a coding boot camp.. so I can finally get my side hustle really grooving and develop my website!

This article gives me ALLLLL THE FEELS! Dannie, You described exactly what I’m going through right now. I’ve been debt free since September, and I’m grateful my income helped me do that. My job is great, the people are great, but I know I’m destined for GREATER things. Now I’m just in it for the benefits, not the passion. I’m constantly calculating how much money I’ll make if I stay just ONE more month or one more paycheck, which is selling myself short. It’s time to make a change and do what fulfills my soul. Thank you for sharing your journey, it helps tremendously ❤️

The best thing I did for myself was to save enough money beforehand so that I could have peace once I left that place. Having our finances in order is the ONLY reason I was able to quit because we didn’t really “need” that paycheck because we’ve been living on one income forever basically.
